Rising Kites Coffee Shop

Rising Kites Coffee is a cozy, kid-friendly coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Bridgman, Michigan. With both an indoor kid's play area and an outdoor, fenced-in space full of interactive toys, it's a very popular option for families.

One of the best things about the Rising Kites is that it’s a program within Rising Kites, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to celebrating the gift of Down Syndrome by: 

  1. Provides employment and job training opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities  

  2. Fosters an inclusive environment where all individuals are encouraged to see the gift that people with disabilities are to our world 

  3. Helps cover the continual costs of the  Rising Kites Bag program which provides encouragement, education, and resources to families new to the Down syndrome community

This program was made possible by a the Stephen E. Upton Love Your Community Grant through the Berrien Community Foundation.
